Do we need a reservation?

While we do accept walk-ins where possible, a reservation is the only way we can guarantee availability and we strongly encourage you to make one. You can make a reservation here or please contact info@palermo.melbourne for enquiries for larger bookings!

How long do we have the table for?

All bookings are designated a strict 2 hour seating. The table will be rebooked after this time. We kindly request that guests respect the reservation time by arriving promptly, as leave times will be firmly adhered to.

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice is required for cancellations, after which a $50pp cancellation fee will apply. 48 hours notice is required for large group bookings. Should your party decrease in size without notice, a cancellation fee per person will apply.

Can I add more people to my booking?

While we’re thrilled to welcome extra guests, increases to party size are subject to availability. Any increase over 8 guests is subject to Large Group Booking Terms & Conditions.

Is your food Halal?

All O'Connor's Beef is produced by Halal approved butchers, however our cooking process may not meet your preferences. Palermo has one charcoal grill where all cooking takes place, including non-Halal-approved products. Please contact the restaurant in advance for further details regarding your booking and preparation options.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

While we offer halal/gluten/nut/allergen free options, we are not 100% allergen free kitchen. On rare occasions cross-contamination could occur, and our restaurant is unable to guarantee that any item can be completely free of traces. Patrons are encouraged to consider this information in light of their individual requirements and needs. Please contact the restaurant directly to ensure your needs can be met.

Do you cater to vegetarian and/or vegan guests?

Yes! We have both vegetarian and vegan set menus available. 48 hours notice is required for vegan set menus so that our kitchen can prepare. There are several great vegetarian options available on our a la carte menu, some of which can be prepared vegan.

Are children welcome at Palermo?

While children are welcome to dine at Palermo, please be aware that we do not provide highchairs or changing facilities. You are welcome to bring your own highchair or booster seat. If you elect to do so or bring a pram, we kindly request that you let us know in advance, so we can ensure you have adequate space. We do not have a kids menu, but have some great items on the a la carte menu to choose from.

Can I bring a cake?

You are welcome to bring your own cake! There is a $5pp cakeage fee, however this is waived should the party dine from a set menu.

Can I bring my own wine?

We are not a licensed BYO venue so unfortunately do not offer corkage. We kindly request that guests please do not bring outside food or beverage into the venue.

Do you have a drinks package?

We do not offer a drinks package, however you are welcome to preselect drinks from our menu to be charged on consumption. Just enquire with our friendly staff!

Do any surcharges apply?

A 10% surcharge is applied to all food and beverage on weekends and a 15% surcharge on public holidays. All bookings of 8 or more will incur a 5% service charge to the final total of the bill.
